Virgin Atlantic makes emergency landing due to family spat

A packed plane was forced to make an emergency landing after a drunken British passenger allegedly became involved in a bust-up with his wife and father-in-law at 30,000 feet.

The pilot of the UK-bound Virgin Atlantic jet had to divert to Canada after cabin crew said a male passenger was being 'disruptive' and had been drinking and arguing with relatives.

The Boeing 747-400 flight from Orlando, Florida, to Manchester, landed in Gander, Newfoundland.
