Turkish Airlines announces flights to 11 new destinations

Turkish Airlines has added 11 new destinations to it’s network in 2011, thereby making it a total of 180 destinations worldwide, as per a release. 

he airline operates flights all over the world from North & South America to Europe; Asia and Africa. The airline has its main base in Istanbul.

Turkish Airlines in the first four months of 2011 started four weekly flights to Guangzhou in China after its existing destinations, Beijing and Shanghai. The airline now also operates to Los Angles four times a week apart from Chicago, Washington, New York and Toronto in North America and from Sao Paolo in South America. 
There are also four weekly flights to Shiraz in Iran other than the existing destinations, Tehran, Mashad and Tabriz. Four weekly flights to Valencia and three weekly flights to Malaga are added destinations in Spain after Barcelona and Madrid. The airline now also operates three weekly flights to Toulouse in France which is the fourth destination after Lyon, Nice and Paris.

Turkish Airlines will additionally be flying to Thessaloniki four times a week from May 27, 2011. This will be the airlines’ second destination in Greece after Athens. From June 2011 onwards, the airline will also be flying to 3 new destinations in Italy, Genoa – five times a week, Naples – three times a week, Turin– three times a week after the already existing Rome, Milan, Venice and Bologna.

The airline is also offering its flyers special promotional fares for all the newly started destinations.
