Indeed, according to a list compiled by the website Private-Fly.com, the aerial approach to the Canary Wharf airport is the seventh-most impressive in the world, beaten only by the likes of Sion Airport in Switzerland, which offers spectacular views of the Alps shortly before landing, and St Barts Airport, which gives travellers unrivalled views over crystal clear seas and pristine Caribbean beaches in the final moments of their journey.
